| GHIN HANDICAP INDEX UPDATES TO OCCUR TWICE MONTHLY IN 2010 |

Starting on January 1, 2010, your monthly handicap updates will occur twice per month, on the 1st and on the 15th. GHIN deals with about 68 associations world-wide. Many of them are on twice-monthly index updates because the association clubs are active seasonally (a winter off-season). Since they have shorter active seasons, the members wish to be updated more frequently than once per month. In order to simplify things, USGA has decided that in 2011 all GHIN-associated clubs would go to twice-monthly updates. NCGA decided to get ahead of the game and incorporate this change in 2010. And since PWGA and WGANC are so closely allied with NCGA, our two womens associations also have chosen to make the change as of January 2010.
